Medicines For Internal Worms

Ivan Lins @ Blue Note Milano

September 28, 2010, Blue Note in Milan, an evening totally immersed and enveloped in the warmth and the sounds of Brazil, thanks to a fantastic live by the composer, singer and composer Ivan Lins.

A bossa nova beat of an irresistible treat for us all night ... simply impossible to stand still and not be entranced by the performance artist in Brazil.

The more involved the same course of the evening was Ivan Lins, who, surrounded by a stellar band, moving to music, smiling during breaks between songs, throwing glances of understanding to his musicians Ivan Lins sat in the middle of the stage, his keyboard, while the other protagonists of the evening were arranged in a semicircle around him, especially to highlight the performance of the young pianist and drummer who stood out for their bravery and their solos and virtuosity.

register was high and were also replicated many of the major successes of its past, next to the most recent pieces, "Passarela no Ar", "Daquilo Que eu Sei", "A People Merece Ser Feliz", "Dinorah, Dinorah" are just some of the songs that have delighted in the first part of the show, the intensity exhibition has been gradually increasing, until reaching a final thrill, a real explosion of rhythm and warmth.

After about an hour's concert Ivan Lins began singing and playing his famous "Comecar de Novo," which really left us open-mouthed ... a reigned in the room to silence, the audience literally in ecstasy at seeing this beautiful interpretation, very slow, quiet, soft, delicate, almost painful, so great was the intensity with which it was performed, then in the penultimate track, the bossa nova of fire suddenly rekindled, with the wonderful and very rhythmic "Ai Ai Ai Ai Ai", another highlight of this evening, the live it is then concluded with the famous "Madalena", in an extended version that it seemed would never end.

unforgettable experience an unforgettable evening.
